is essiac hard to make?

"Is essiac hard to make?"

It's the first thing most people ask us when they have just heard about essiac tea.

The answer depends on which brand you purchase. If you purchase powdered essiac tea, which is the kind that Rene Caisse determined worked best in her research, essiac tea is not hard at all to make and take. See more about Rene Caisse's research here.

essiac tea takes just 10 minutes once every two weeks to prepare.

It's as easy as boiling an pot of pasta!

To make essiac, you simply...

  • Boil some water
  • Empty the contents of a packet into the water
  • Let it boil on medium for 10 minutes
  • Remove the pot from the heat
  • Let it sit for 12 hours before putting it in the fridge, and you're done!
  • You'll have enough to last you two weeks.

why do some companies tell you that you have to strain the herbs or brew essiac twice?

There are a few reasons.

  • Some companies tell you to do that to make you think that their brand is better because it's a more complicated process.
  • Some companies are using whole herbs. Rene Caisse's research showed that powdered herbs are superior, and it makes total sense. Powdered herbs are more absorbable. But if a company is using whole herbs, brewing twice is the way to go.
  • Some companies want you to love the way their essiac looks and tastes. Straining the herbs helps with that, but at the costs of results. No thank you! We would never resort to such tactics just to sell more essiac if it means the essiac won't work as well for you.

don't fall for marketing gimmicks - use the rene caisse method of making essiac tea with powdered herbs.
