Juicing and Essiac are a great pair

Juicing and essiac go hand in hand!

If you take essiac, juicing might also be of interest. I am sure because you are reading this that you are interested in health. I'm also sure that you are interested in whatever you can do with your diet to improve health.

juicing and essiacSimilar to juicing, essiac can help your body with immune support and full body detox.

One of the most important things you can do for your health is to consume nine servings of fruits and vegetables every day. But that's not easy in today's world. Luckily, juicing can help boost your fruit and veggie intake without having to spend all day in the kitchen or chomping down salad.

Virtually every disease and health related ailment out there has been shown to improve or even be irradicated among those who consume enough of the phytochemicals that come from fruits and vegetables in their diet. Both the chemicals contained in the produce and also the fiber that is part of the whole food are important. This is where juicing comes in and why juicing tends to be more effective than supplements.

juicing essiacEssiac is a great source of minerals as well as antioxidants that are sorely lacking in the average diet.

It is impossible to isolate out every beneficial compound found in each type of produce and add it to the diet via a supplement. However, by consuming a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, you can receive the benefits without the risk of toxicity. Fresh juices are also a source of enzymes that help with the digestion of the food and nutrients. Since enzymes are destroyed during the cooking process, juicing is a convenient way to receive them. Also, when juicing the produce is partially broken down for you, helping improve digestion over something like a salad.

Vitamins and minerals will also be more available to the body in juice form as opposed to eating the fruit or vegetable whole. We suggest you take your juice with the fiber included, as that fiber has beneficial compounds as well for most individuals.

Be careful that the juice you make doesn't become too high in sugar - even if it's just natural sugar. You can make sure of this by keeping at least a 2:1 ratio of vegetables to fruits.

Tips for using Juicing and Essiac Together

You may take your essiac doses right along with your juice, or even mix it into the juice. Just make sure there is no protein or fat source in your juice if you do this.
